There's a few folks on here that painted their base model calipers red & turned out good, but if you plan on upgrading anywho it would just be a waste of time & effort IMO.
thanks for fast response~ kk
Well, My rims are in my room ready to install , i went online and checked brakes, woah... its like 1500 dolas.
Thats an odd question. Brembo brakes will set you back 3 or 4 grand.
Painting your stockers is what? like 40 bucks?
yea, i guess i go for the paint.
but are afraid that its gnna look shitty.

Take your time, prep very thoroughly (sanding, tacking, taping), spray on a semi-warm day with little moisture & you should turn out fine. If you want to spend a little more you could have them powder coated & they would be a little more resistant to the heat in the braking system increasing the longevity of the finish.
I was thinking this myself.

Any ideas for a color OTHER than red? I like red calipers but I wanna avoid red cause its gonna look like I have Brembo envy.

I'm thinking of doing mine black, I'm not looking for them to stand out alot. Only reason I'm going to paint mine is because I used that Meguire's Hot Rims cleaner in the purple bottle and not thinking I sprayed it on the calipers as well. Hosed it off and now my calipers are a dull gray instead of silver. :(
Yeah, don't forget to put a few coats on the rotors. Maybe a different color to make it really pop
ROFL, hey look at it this way, at least itll add a lot of friction to those brakes.
Hahah.

Use G2 caliper paint or Folia Tech.
