There's a few folks on here that painted their base model calipers red & turned out good, but if you plan on upgrading anywho it would just be a waste of time & effort IMO.
There's a few folks on here that painted their base model calipers red & turned out good, but if you plan on upgrading anywho it would just be a waste of time & effort IMO.IS it good idea to paint my brake in red? and would match my nord grey?
or shoudl i just buy new brembo breaks ?
Take your time, prep very thoroughly (sanding, tacking, taping), spray on a semi-warm day with little moisture & you should turn out fine. If you want to spend a little more you could have them powder coated & they would be a little more resistant to the heat in the braking system increasing the longevity of the finish.yea, i guess i go for the paint.
but are afraid that its gnna look shitty.
I'm thinking of doing mine black, I'm not looking for them to stand out alot. Only reason I'm going to paint mine is because I used that Meguire's Hot Rims cleaner in the purple bottle and not thinking I sprayed it on the calipers as well. Hosed it off and now my calipers are a dull gray instead of silver.I was thinking this myself.
Any ideas for a color OTHER than red? I like red calipers but I wanna avoid red cause its gonna look like I have Brembo envy.
hahahha
