Does anyone know what kind of bolts are used on the plastic splash shield/undercover? I have a 2012 3.8L. The bolt has a concave type washer and some other piece between the washer and bolt (not sure what these parts are called). I can only seem to find bolts with flat washers on the OEM parts websites for some reason.

It seems that 4 of the 8 that hold it up were lost by the dealership over the last several oil changes. I didn't notice until I had to remove it to change my oil.

They are self thread cutters (not needed after first use) with a captive washer. M8x1.25 I do believe. Just need to get them long enough. Look for Under Cover parts.

Here's the Hyundai part number which they say is no longer available. KIA probably has them under a diffrent part number. 1125406203, 1125406206K, 1125406206B

Thanks, I'll go with a few of those. It's the exact bolt I was thinking about going with when I did my research online. The self-thread cutters explains the odd looking end. Any insight into why washers like this are concave and there's that captive piece? I'm guessing it has to do with the fact they're bolted into plastic. Most ones I've seen are your single standard flat washer.
