I know this thread is old... But I'm a new ish owner of a 2015 rspec in the ogden area. I work down at the Freeport center in Clearfield and I've seen maybe 3 other gcs during my commute over the last 6 months. I would love to see a few more :)

I'm out in Clinton, from Florida and the gas sucks here! I have to mix 91 and race gas to get the same quality. Currently my GC is in the garage I'm upgrading the Turbo and fuel system. I'm trying to gather people for a tuning event after tax season.

A tuning event would be difficult to organize for gcs here I would think. Best bet would probably be to get the veloster turbo guys to group up and sneak into a tuning event for them haha. Plenty of those around. Relative to our coupes any way.

Edit:
Second thought.
Getting a dyno you could use would pose a problem at a veloster focused event.

Dont know if there is a large KDM following, but a buddy of mine was looking into 93 octane, and I believe there is a gas station in Lehi thats sells it. but not %100 sure.

My buddy is a Subaru guy, this was taken from NASIOC

the purpose of this thread is to post locations you have found that have higher than normal octane gas(92-100+) E85 doesn't really count since there're so many of those stations around, but if you guys want we could include it.

(I don't know anywhere, sorry)

please include city, address and octane selection, if you include costs please provide dates and comparason to premium 91 costs, that way the thread will stay relevant over time, the more organized it is the more helpful this thread will be. thanks all!

Hello!

Greetings, fellow Utah Gen Coupe owners! I've been trying to find other people living in Utah with this car and I'm not sure how I never found this thread before.

I've had my 2010 3.8 GT since June 16th and I've barely done anything to it besides switch out the emblems and paint the wheels and the front grill (which most def needs to be redone). I'm looking into blacking out the headlights and the taillights and adding a SRI or CAI next. Does anyone here have an opinion on which route to go? I'm not trying to be a cheap-ass but I'd like a DIY option for the SRI or CAI to save myself some money. Any ideas, thoughts, insights?

Lastly, if you're on here, there's a black gen coupe that drives by my house/shop a LOT on Howick ST in SLC. I'm not sure if you're on here or if you've ever seen my car parked there but if you are, then hello and your car sounds wicked!

Again, hello to all and I'm excited to meet you guys! Is anyone going to Scrapefest next weekend? I went to the pre-meet yesterday and if the person with the red gen coupe is reading this then hello to you too!

There are 2 handheld tuning options that are close to release for the Genesis coupe! Does anyone have experience working with a tuner in Utah that would be willing and able to take a crack at our cars when one or both of these solutions become available? I have zero experience with any tuners in Utah so hopefully someone here will have some idea of where to start!

Hey Sarah and Tumba! Yeah I was the red gencoupe at Scrapefest. Didnt see another Gen there, should have come and said hello! but I actually have a custom SRI on my car. But really they are easy to install and worth the $100 to $200. Youtube and this forum are your best friends, there are walk throughs and guides galore!

Tumba, I currently am waiting for the handheld tune options to be released. but the best bet to have someone locally tune your car would be a suby shop like simple performance down town. That would be my best guess. Hope this helps! :D
