V6 upper manifolds

anybody got info on this setup? also would this provide any benefit on a N/A application? looks like the vq35de upper... This is similar to what we were looking at with a custom turbo kit but having the TB in the front like the LS engines and Ecoboost and coming out of the top of an intercooler like STS supplies.

EDIT:
Before anyone asks... 496 whp single turbo, w/ internals.

No, but I looked around and you could try Elite Autosport. I was reading that they just built a killer 2.0 manifold that made pretty good power and its efficient. I'm sure they would be able to answer your questions about design, flow, efficiency, and power. IMO though, on our cars you're not going to make huge gains with a manifold in N/A unless you got some headwork done and some cams put in. And of course a solid CUSTOM tune.

The intake plenum on the original VQ35, with modifications and/or a spacer produced an extra 10 or 15 hp.

Which is pretty good considering.

So I wouldn't rule it out in terms of making decent power.

Well, that may be true on VQ35 motors. But since our G6DA isn't a VQ35, we don't know what it will and won't produce as far as power from different intake manifold parts/changes... Yet. I haven't seen a dyno or even a post with anything concrete to date. So unitl then....

Yeah for sure, I'm just making the point that it is plausible.

They're not the hard to make either. Hmmm...
We would be open to looking at a design for the 3.8 Intake manifold!
