Recently ,the led headlight for auto is becoming very hot.

Do you think the led headlight will replace the HID xenon headlight ?

What you will choose ? LED headlight Or HID xenon kit

LED Headlight features as below:
1:High power, High brightness, strong pentrating power.Save energy 60% than HID
2esigned to last 80,000 hours!
3:No warm up time!
4:No relays to run, get a true plug and play high / low setup.
5:Ballasts are solid aluminum with a built in fan.
6:Low voltage protection, high precision constant current driver chip.
7:True Plug-N-Play Conversion Kit.
8:Safe for headlight and fog light, won't melt the housing and runs cooler than stock Halogen bulbs & HID bulbs.
9:1800-3000 LM light output
10:Fits into existing headlights or fog lights, no modification or retrofitting required.
11:Bulb lifespan of 5 to 10 years.

I would try LED lights but I generally don't like things with fans but since it would be mounted in a sealed housing it should be ok. Also, I'm not sure how they will do in -30C weather but they would be worth a try.

Just something I noticed It says 90W / bulb.... my HIDs are 35W / bulb... how is this a 60% energy savings?

I would be all over an LED kit as long as it wasnt over 500 bucks.

The company I drive big rigs for is getting new freightliners with stock LED highs lows and turns. They are freaking incredible. HIDs major flaw is wet roads at night. Cant see ****. With the led headlights in our truxks u can see as far as if the road was dry. Color is even bluer than the 5000k hids in our kenworths. They dont look as bright to other traffic. They are just awesome

Few things.
I do EMC auto compliance
Those can never have the light output that hids or halogens have.

Leds are becoming the next wave, but in order to be useful a total retrofit would be necessary.
The pics you posted are hids, the coloration of the light is a giveaway. All the LED lights ive tested stay a consistent color, and don't change color around the edges.

I also highly doubt the claim of 90w, especially looking at the "heatsink"
All of the LED light I test the entire back of the headlight housing is a heatsink, and they still get warm.

tl;dr Those are for appearance only, won't give you any visibility.

Yeah, my main concern would be efficiently distributing the light using OEM xenon or halogen housings and I can't see that working very well using LED.
