TurboXS hybrid stuck

I drive a 2012 genesis coupe 2.0t R-Spec and I just bought a TurboXS blow off valve and it was pretty straight forward to install but as I took it for a drive I immediately seen I wasn’t making boost

So I took another look and seen that the blow off valve was half open at idle and at any Rpm it won’t even move it just stays there and it’s brand new again and I don’t see or hear the hoses leak all bolts are on perfectly fine it’s the piston will go back down when I remove the hose attached to it and when I start the car again same results

Also right before this everything was working perfectly fine and making boost what can be wrong with it ?

Curious to know like Jimmy C asked did you install a block off plate? If you did and your having problems with the bov I would call TurboXs and let them know. There a good company that sell quality products in which they stand behind so you shouldnt have any problems with them.

It replaces the oem bypass valve so no block off plate needed

Maybe the orientation is off . So long ago when I capped mine with a block off plate .. The bov you have has a half moon channel that needs to be matched up on the turbo. ?
