FlyRyde Bi-Xenon HID RetroQuick Projector System - $245

Finally, here it is. I have these in stock ready to ship!

Hyundai Genesis Coupe RetroQuick Bi-Xenon HID Projector Kit | FR_HGC_Bi-Xenon_Retroquick | FlyRyde

I just wanted to get this thread up so you guys could check out he parts and ask questions here. I'll add the Q&A to my website as well, but I'll start with this:

Q: Will I be able to use my stock high beams with this setup?
A: Yes, the halogen bulb can be left plugged in, and the Bi-Xenon Projector will tap into the high beam power source to produce an HID High Beam on top of the regular high beam output.

Q: Can I still aim and adjust the headlights using the adjustment bolts in back of the headlights?
A: Yes, the adapter plate was designed to keep the new projector, in the exact same center position as the stock projector, which means its screwed in place to the housing that moves when you turn the adjustment bolts.

Q: How should I position the cut off line?
A: The adjustment bolts control the aiming of Left to Right with one bolt, and Up and Down with the other bolt. You'll aim the lights directly ahead of you, and make sure that the tops of the cut off lines meet. This is best done at night facing a wall on a flat surface where you can see the lights off in the distance. You'll want to aim the lights no higher than the top of the rear bumper of a car your driving behind. If your car is slammed to the ground... use common sense and dont aim them as high since you'll be blinding everyone at a distance.

Q: Are these street legal
A: Nothing is street legal... "Off road use only" cause I know everyone drives their Genesis Coupe off road.

The Projectors replace the OEM projectors in both the Halogen based headlights, as well as the HID based headlights. Once the headlights are separated, the adjustment bolts in the lights can be backed out completely, which will leave the reflector/projector housing held in by only a ball joint. Remove the Plugs for the stock bulbs, and pop out the ball joint, and this RetroQuick system will replace the stock projector by removing only 4 screws, swapping the part into place, and replacing the screws.

The system uses the famous little projector who could: The Morimoto Mini H1 Bi-Xenon Projector. A laser cut steel plate is used to adapt this projector to the Genesis Headlight housing as a bolt in part. The Senlite HID kit can be upgraded to a Morimoto Ballast and bulb combo as well. Please contact us for more information, as well as upgrade options.

These look awesome.

A little off topic here but what kind of bulbs are in the foglights on that gray coupe, they match the HID's and switchbacks perfectly!

i've never opened hid headlights but im pretty sure that you can even change the oem projector for a bi xenon .. and from what i ve seen it's quite easy to fit in the high beam section .. i have a set of these projectors on my civic and i have the retroquick system ready to install and i'll get another pair of projectors for the high beam section ...

If you want HID high beams. Bi-xenon flips the cutoff shield to allow full light penetration. Personally, I probably wouldn't bother if I had OEM HID, but this is definitely the best and easiest kit for a real retrofit from halogen.

I have these retro quicks installed in place of my high beams, so both go on with the low beam and are aimed low perfectly. Chris installed a kill switch in case I need to disable them for any reason. When I compare the light with the retro quicks on and off, these throw off at least twice the light of the OEMs and are stupid bright, plus the retro quicks give off even more with high beam. The dual projectors are a nice bright combo, which after you use them, you will not want to go back to just the OEMs.
