Vibrations between 75-85 MPH
I have been to the dealer 2 times. They repalced the <a class="iAs" classname="iAs" style="font-weight: normal !important; font-size: 100% !important; text-decoration: none !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(74, 149, 225) !important; border-bottom-width: 1px !important; border-bottom-style: dotted !important; padding-bottom: 0px !important; color: rgb(74, 149, 225) !important; background-color: transparent !important; " href="#" target="_blank" itxtdid="6603450">drive <nobr id="itxt_nobr_12_0" style="color: rgb(74, 149, 225); font-weight: normal; font-size: 100%; ">shaft<img src="http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif" name="itxt-icon-0" style="display: inline !important; height: 10px; width: 10px; position: relative; top: 1px; left: 1px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; "></nobr></a> which reduced it about 80% but still have the vibration. I'm taking it back again and telling them I want it fixed. I think the second drive shaft I got is bad too. I only have about 800miles on it. It's not the tires, I already went through that with the dealer. It seems to be a problem that Hyundai needs to fix. Ifind there are a lot of this with the 2010 coupes on the internet. I'm going to push the dearler and I'm sure that Hyundai and the dealer are going to try to get out of it. Have to see Will give updates.<br>
Just took mine in for the exact same issue.
Here is what to do to replicate in other cars:
Have a half a tank of gas (doesn't do it on mine with a full tank.)
Accelerate steadily to 80-85.
All your mirrors should start shaking at this point.
Now the shaking will stop if you lift on the gas or decelerate in any manner. If you mash the clutch the shaking will stop too.
The shaking will also stop if you go past 95. At this point you are met with a low frequency hum from the rear of the car.
Can anyone confirm if this issue is with the Thorsen limited slip diff? My car is a GC R-Spec.
