Northeast AS tire

I have a Bk2 track with the stock 19's. I've been running new Achilles atr sport 2. They get pushed hard squealing and sliding almost everyday. I'm already experiencing wavy scalping on the outside front tread. With the temps starting to drop I realize I will need to get an all season to keep traction with cold tire temps. I only see about 3 months a year of hot weather so I'm thinkin it may not be worth it to run a summer set at all. I'm leaning towards.

I've also heard that pilot sport 4s perform good in cold temps even though they are a summer tire so that may be an option. Either way this is a huge purchase so I don't want to mess up. I wish I could try a bunch at the track before I bought them. They will almost never see snow If I can avoid it since I have a truck. They will most definitely see spirited driving.
