Well my stock rears are about to bite the bullet(18,000 miles). Tread is about 40-50%. Lets just say I've chirped power shifting to 4th and my car is stock so i'm thinking tires need to be changed for sure.
My problem is the front tires look great probably 70% left on them and I cant buy all 4 new ones unless I absolutely had to and seeing how the fronts do great and no need to replace them i'm planning on just replacing the rear tires. But I want to go to a 255mm tire width(stock base rims) which would throw the sidewall aspect off. If I went to a 255/40 (stock is 245/45) would that throw my traction control(I normally run with it off anyways but in snow and rain it does come in handy)
