So recently I started a thread to show off my custom side exit exhaust...

If you want to flame the exhaust please visit THAT thread to do so

this one will be for the BUTT PLUGS!!!!!

So I know that a few vendors have CF style plugs, but for the life of me I can't find a passenger side plug. What I want to do is simply fab a piece and rivet it to the rear panel like I did for the surround bezels, paint it black and call it a day...it would be shaped to the curves of the bumper and not just a blocky plate

opinions needed... too trashy? just right? alternatives? im all ears boys

I think it'd be easiest to find someone who has the driver's side one and make a template off of it for the passenger side. Just trace the shape, flip it over, and build off that. I got the M&S one on mine for the single exit. Cheaper than CF if you actually do have to buy one.

Also just as a heads up...... Since there is no exhaust going out the rear of the vehicle, and if you plug those two holes you are effectively creating a parachute for the air travelling under the car. I would also try and fab up some kind of rear underbody panel. Or at least some kind of vent for that air travelling under the car.

I know its nit picking but to me it looks like that is what will happen.

I totally agree and I have been trying to wrap my head around a solution, I think I may order one of the trays for the front and just drill that B into position.

haha it would probably be easier, and maybe cheaper just to buy a thin sheet of aluminum and actually make your own.

Even though you said in your other thread this was your first time doing something like this. You seriously look like you have a natural ability to be able to accomplish something like this. From your V1 to V3 was pretty damn good man.

Thanks man, that is highly appreciated. I feel like your car is just an extension of yourself so I am sensitive about comments, the support has been great, only a few people don't like it.

your are 100% correct. I personally love this look, it just like screams hot rod haha. Plus there has not been 1 other person do this. It is truly unique.

Here is a thread by Tufast, very old, this is what he did to get rid of the parachute in the back.

I understand it doesn't look very pretty with the stock exhaust, but with your exhaust I think it would look good. You would see the 2 pipes exiting out the side from the back. Just to throw an idea out there for you, because I really like what you have done so far.

YES! that is what I need in my life

lol I am sure you can put your little personal touch on it also.

Come to think of it, looking at Tufast's pictures, it looks to me as though you might not even see the rear diff and axles and such since the car is pretty low.

yes, there is the slightest curve in the body panel there and it flexes to fit, there is probably a 1mm gap at the most right there.
