Thanks for the feedback! I have more screenshots coming this weekend, I may even try to get a video up to give a better idea of how it works. (night time shots included - it matches the blue gauges beautifully)

As for distribution and all that, I'll provide more information in a week or so. It really does make the interior feel a lot more premium - I can't wait for everybody to see.

Simply amazing...I can't wait to see the finished product. I was reading the original thread, did anyone ever figure out how to get it to permanently replace the stock look? Or are we going to have to keep a USB in the slot and tell it to upgrade maps each time we turn on the car?

 

It's a "permanent" change. You load the skin, it stays, doesn't matter what happens. If you want to switch back, there's a mechanism for that as well. Keep the USB stick in your glove box and forget about it. Very simple to install, takes about 2 minutes, restart your vehicle and you're good to go. Hell, you can switch it while you're driving if you want, but I wouldn't recommend it. (eyes on the road, and all that)

Hello all,

I have to agree with Hastings here the pictures really do not give this justice. I have been lucky enough to see this on a number of occasions both at night and during the day.

Ones first impressions when you see this in the car is that it is so clean it should be what the car comes with from the factory. It really is seamless how it blends so well with the dashes charcoal colour, it just gives it such a premium look and feel. At night there is nothing more to say then it is outstanding. It is clear, vivid and just spot on.

I know my 2013's nav is nearly idealical to the 2011, and this has made me look at mine and just be jealous, I just want it for my car, sign me up for the first 2013 version!
