Im just curious if we mount the ECU inside the cabin what happens when I need to turn my heater on?? It doesn't seem like a very good fix to me. Also Adam I sent you an email and hopefully we can figure something out, id like to have the ecu looked at and fixed with as many times as it has died and malfunctioned on me i kind of dont want to keep it in my car. we have plent of time to fix it before i start working on my car again in the spring.

I have responded to you via Email, however I just want to make this clear because I am tired of beating this dead horse. Your heater will not overheat the ECU, it is not putting out 200* right on the ECU. The ECU is only damaged in the engine bay because the case is being cooked at 200+*F, which does not allow any cooling of the ECU through the ECU case. There is no other solution that is viable at this point. As we have done for our customers so far, we will take care of this one time for you, but you must relocate the ECU into the cabin of your vehicle. There will be no more warrantee on heat related failures.

Thanks,
Adam

Nice. Quick question. Where is the serial number located? Or can I just get it in the ecu manager software ?

Never had heat issue with mine after 1 year but since you offer the kit. I'll just do it

The serial number is located on the bottom of the ECU underneath the original mounting plate. It is also viewable in the software by going to Tools -> Firmware version.

It is not worth risking damaging your ECU permanently to not do the reloaction. Anyone can do it with basic hand tools and it costs you nothing but an hour or so of your time.

I need some help on aux inputs. I'm not sure how to wire up the ebc.

The car will be at the shop tomorrow to relocate my haltech and I was going through the manual tonight and it says the package include a M8 to M6 grounding lug. looking at what is in the bag I got I don't see anything that looks like an adapter.
4 screws of 2 different sizes. I guess some to mount the haltech to the bracket and the other 2 to mount it under the dash. but which one is which.

and 3 nuts that I have no idea what they are for.
Did someone already installed that relocation kit, any advice would be welcome.
Also where you mounted the haltech under the dash.

How did you manage without the m8 to m6 adapter? You just used a regular screw?

Alright guys having issues with my thermofan. I can't get it to kick on regardless of temp settings. It is enabled, enabled with AC, 0's in the columns for rpm offset etc for thermofan 1, like 20 I think in thermofan 2 IIRC. Any ideas? Fuses are good. Everything is plugged in. Only option left is to check relays.
