I had similar issues one was wrong ocv apparently Hyundai made two different versions I ordered one which was supposed to be correct and it wasn’t. Also the cam shaft alignment pin was bent looking at it you would not be able to tell wasn’t until I took off my exhaust cam phaser that I found the bent alignment pin.

When I was chasing my code I had did the timing marks according to the Hyundai manual but I believe the timing marking for the crank shaft is incorrect. I set mine like this and the code hasn’t come back.

common issues I see working on these a lot that can cause the p0014 if you have confirmed timing is set properly.

bk1 engine using bk2 and vice versa using the improper oil control valves will cause codes.

oil control valve wiring that is broken , crumbly, old will cause high resistance to the ecu throwing a false code I have personally had this happen. The wiring layes over the valve cover and sees heat its whole life.

oil control valve connector goes bad I have also had these go bad and short causing high resistance fluctuation readings when measuring ohms on the connector it’s self they sell replacement connectors on Amazon.

crack in the exhaust phaser cam gear I have also had two cam phasers crack on me causing a leak in oil pressure this is typically only seen in built engines running aftermarket valve springs .

these are a few culprits that can cause this code I work on gen coupes pretty much all the time so I have either personally have seen it with my own car or had it happen to a customer car.
