Help on reading wife's alignment report

Quick question, I had my wife's Elantra get new tires recently and the place said that it "definitely" needed an alignment, which I agreed to. I was filing my paperwork today and read the alignment report and noticed that only 2 of the specs were adjusted (minimally) and one is still in the red. Now maybe I'm reading this incorrectly so I wanted to validate my concerns that they really didn't do much before putting the shop on blast.......any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

So first of all, based on the before numbers, the car did not need an alignment.

As for the toe numbers, your total toe is well within spec, that right toe is so close to spec and the difference between right and left toe is small so it won't favor one side vs the other or anything.

Personally, I'd say something to them, yes they did check your spec but they didn't really do anything, the change in toe of .01Âş before and after could just have been the machine as it's such a small number, I doubt the guy touched it.

FYI I took my wife's Elantra in for an alignment, 25,000 miles and it hadn't had one yet so I felt it was time to at least check it, my shop put it on the rack, it was perfect, they handed me the keys and said you're good, no charge. The Elantra appears to hold an alignment really well.

Thank you!

So here's how the story goes: I called them and emailed one of their sales team the alignment report. They called me back and apologized. They said this was the before sheet for both numbers in each column (before/actual). They checked with the mechanic and he doesn't remember why I didn't get the after report, but says he did dial it in and aligned it.

That said the rep said he would have the same reaction and understands where I'm coming from, how do I know they did the work without a report. (To be honest it does drive smoother and straight since that day).

Initially he offered me a partial refund of 66% of the cost, so it would end up costing me a third of what it was, or to come in and they will do a realignment and show me the reports. I felt that is breaking even for them but not for me as it inconveniences me to get the work that I already spent time and money on. So we settled on doing the realignment and a $30 credit with them for my next mobile1 synthetic oil change on her car.

TLDR: The photo posted is only the before report. Alignment was completed but an after report was never printed. Good guy shop will realign the car and gave me a $30 credit above that.

The before numbers still indicate a car that doesn't need an alignment, that it seems to drive smoother I think has more to do with the new (higher quality?) tires than anything else.

Regardless, they're giving you some money back and making sure you have the data to reassure you the car is properly dialed in, so it's all good.

I'm a tech, that car barely needed adjusting. Go get your 2/3 back and don't go back. What kind of shop was it? Local or a chain? This stuff is rampant at chain stores (tire kingdom tread quarters Firestone ect) where they push for alignments because they are 100% profit.
