so the red and black wires that i have are not it? There's a different wiring harness somewhere?

On the wiring diagram, it says that the wires should be Red and Black, for the spoiler and top mounted (rear deck) however, mine (spoiler) were green and black.

Yea it's red and black so it should work. But the KAHTEC unit comes with 3 wires. I'm ssuming red to red and black to black, but what do i do with the blue?

Nevermind i think i get it. Red gets spliced and i attach KAHTEC red to one end and blue to the other correct?

Bingo. If you look at the OP, it shows exactly how plus the instructions that come from Kahtec are pretty good.

Alternative to Kahtec

I just installed the Mr. Brakesafe. It flashes 4 times and the goes solid; recycle time of 2 seconds. It's very small and works great. The eBay seller is in Missouri but it only took 3 days for delivery in Texas. I don't want to link it but a quick search will find it.

ok, found a video. Is there anything exactly like this one, but with longer recycle time? like 4-5+ sec

Actually one working off the G sensor would be much better.

upd: Adaptive Brake Light (ABL) - The 3rd Eye <- that's what i'm looking for
4hz flash for reference, 2,5hz couldn't find

I just ordered the "Blinking Smart Stop Plus 3 Delay Version" for my car. I am so tired of being tailgated. I have started leaving ten car-lengths in front of me when someone rides my bumper.

I've had that on my cars for the past year. It doesn't make a difference. Idiots still tail gate.
