Even with secondary cats replaced with H pipe, pops/bangs are no where as loud as those with strait pipe exhaust/more aggresive exhaust. I belive magnaflow rear muffler crosses over exhaust (x pipe inside) too much muffling.
I think you need different rear mufler/s to get it pop loud...separate muffler can on each pipe.

I went down the road of test pipes with my Borla, and the rasp was unbearable to me. My solution has been perfect for me, but I’m not sure it will satisfy your want of louder pops. They’re fine for me, but it’s totally subjective. I had custom resonators built from Vibrant products. (1792 bottles and flanges). Crucial Motorsports in Orlando did the fab work and it was excellent.

 

my car pops and crackles a lot i have a cnt v3 catback with test pipes and resonator delete and also with the H crossover on the down pipes best my car has sounded

 

I also have a 3.8, I want to get a new exhaust for the loudest pops and crackles possible, and I want to keep the exhaust as loud as I can, right now I just have an exhaust leak and I really like how it sounds but I want to get more back fire noise. Also If anyone has any recommendation on what exhaust I should go with, could you include if it’s possible to add a delete.

 

All I have done on my exhaust is a muffler delete. Sounds great and I get plenty of pops and bangs. It’s loud but not unbearable

I have isr race CBE for my 3.8 and secondary cat delete with ark test pipes. Theres no muffler, It's pretty damn loud but I love it. Lots and lots of pops especially after I got a custom tune at sfr. It was a bit raspy and some drone but that has gone away since the tune.

 

Have you tried a secondary delete?

 

I also have a magnaflow exhaust with isr test pipes. I am tuned and fbo without headers. 8 A/T. My pops on downshifts just sound muffled. I get a lot of them but it’s just muffled and don’t have that pop pop pop sound that I want. Do you think headers or even a resonator delete will make them louder? I don’t wanna have to get a muffler delete on the cbe.
