I have been looking for the answer to this question for a while cant really find a specific answer. I mean I am sure I can prob figure it out on my own but I always like to have confirmation.
I am going to plastidip my car in the next few weeks. As soon as I decide what color I want. But until then I am doing research on how dip works in the first place. I have don't a decent amount of research already. The one thing I cant seem to find...
Do you have to clay your car to remove all the wax before you dip it? If you don't HAVE TO, is there an advantage to removing all wax first? Or no?
Only reason I don't think you should have to is because you can spray plastidip on windows, headlights, rims, paint, plastic, pretty much any surface and it adheres so I don't see why waxed paint would be any different then like a headlight plastic or glass window or panoramic roof. But I just figured I would ask for your professional opinions first!
