Wanted to get pics up sooner, but the long and strenuous journey to complete the polyurethane Prodigy front lips is officially over--along with all the blood, sweat, tears, anguish, drama etc that accompanied it all. I took one of these Prodigy front lips to a local meet tonight so a bunch of peeps got to see it in person. I'm sure we'll hear some opinions pretty soon. Either way, here you go with some pics:

Obviously I've got plenty more, but here are a few sitting in the plastic...

Lookin good so far...

Nice detail--and smooth as a baby's butt right out of the box (or plastic baggie, for that matter)...
Image

View of the backside just for the hell of it...
Image

Slapped it on the car for you to see the fit. Not even screwed/bolted/siliconed on--and it's snug as a bug...

~~~~NOW ONTO THE FUN~~~~
Just by holding one side up in the air, you can see she's a flexible lady...
Image
Screw that....how about a FULL 360-DEGREES WITH NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER?!?!
Image
This one was Kraken's, so I can stomp on it too and still can't break it...
(Lol, sorry sorry...just bustin cajones!)
So as you all see, polyurethane material is so much better than anything else out there. Nobody can dispute the overall level of quality and workmanship on this front lip--it's IMMACULATE!
Any questions or comments? Just let me know!
Looks great :)
I was gonna say I better not get that one you're showing off there twisting and bending till I read the part about you stomping it so it's ok. lol.
I'm really interested money in hand but can you prepaint? :(
"So hi. Welcome to the board from a fellow NJ GC owner chick.
But could you do me a favor? Type/talk normally? Thanks."
That spelling does not look "Normal" Miss Adema.
Did you break on through to the fun side?
Let me know when you have a Mirabeau Blue one laying around. :p
looks like this is gonna be a popular product.
I'm interested, but i'm going to hold off and see how many people end up with this lip. I don't want my car to look like every other one on the board, but i do really like this lip, and i imagine the flexibility would be good in case of curb rash, or a high driveway entrance.
How will it hold up in really low temps? we get to around -35 Celsius up here in the winter. Will it be prone to cracking?
Got mine last night. Dropped it off at the paint shop today. Will have it installed on Wednesday.
I will post a couple unpainted pics later once i convert from RAW
This thing is NICE
not in the front it isn't, the lip sits about 1.25-1.5" lower in the front, if its was exactly stock height you would beable to see the stock bumper through the splitter portion of the lip, but you can't because the bumper sits above that portion of the lip. Unless you have a different definition of stock height than I do.
Nope, you're mistaken. Keep in mind that the OEM front bumper naturally slopes upwards--and it's lowest part is right at the wheel well. The front lip sits exactly at stock height because it does not extend lower than the lowest part of the front bumper. It extends forward at the lowest point of the front bumper and therefore does not reduce the overall height of the original bodyline in any way. That's how the lip was designed. You don't measure the lip's height at the OEM front bumper's highest point--you measure it at it's lowest point.
My point is it makes the front portion of the bumper lower which reduces ground clearance for entry and exit angles. You are correct that the sides of the lip are the same as the stock.
