Hey everyobody,
I was just wondering...at what point are bigger injectors needed? I've heard some people say that only when upgrading the turbo, while others say that they are necessary after adding a few bolt-ons. Here's what I have on my car so far:
2.0T R-Spec Mods(current):
CP-E Intake
CP-E Turbo back Exhaust (no cats)
HKS Super SQV III w/AGP adapter
AGP Oil Accumulator w/breather
The following parts are on order, and expected to arrive shortly:
CP-E FMIC Kit
CP-E Oil Cooler Kit
Grimm Speed 160-Degree Thermostat
I'm aware that a tune would allow me to get better gains from these parts, and I am planning to do that next (leaning towards the CMD/WB2 combo). However, I was looking for some reassurance that the car would be okay for daily driving without a tune and bigger injectors (safe AFRs, etc.).
If you respond, please provide technical details to back up your assessment. Also, let me know if you need any additional information if it will help you in making your assessment. Thanks in advance for your participation!
