What do I have to do to make my 2016 3.8 ultimate genesis coupe to reliably handle 600 crank hp? I know I’ll need forged internals, oil cooler, turbo, but what all would I have to do?

the 13+ 3.8 V6 runs at an extremely high compression ratio and I wouldn’t recommend anymore than 8-10psi on a turbo unless you want to fry your car.

our Lambda ll motors run at 13.5/1 compression. anything over 11/1 is sketchy when you turbocharge it lol

Stock compression is 11.5:1 and isn't crazy high or sketchy at all especially being GDI. Our customers built motor drag car we did is still running the same compression ratio and with 18psi on race fuel. Most other customers are on same compression with pump gas around 14psi with a built motor. Average stock motor most run around the 6-8psi range for safety.

I would honestly think of the cost of doing this if your going to do it correctly and what this car will be worth afterwards, much better platforms for this. I dont even want to know what it would cost to get that engine forged, get the transmission upgraded and everything else you will need to get that done. I never skip corners when building for power so im not sure of the cheap ways to do it lol.

All of this for a car to not even get a 10 second quarter mile?

If your looking for that kinda power, highly recommend looking at another platform.

You will need, injectors, rails, pump, intercooler, turbos, intake, full exhaust, cam, transmission/clutch, turbo kit, fully built engine, tires and wheels to support that and a tune with quite possibly meth. Just to start.....

In Canada that would cost upwards of 25-30 grand+.
