How reliable

I think the issue is its a performance oriented car. People who buy them generally drive them harder than average and sometimes modify them for more power than what was originally intended.
IMHO the 3.8 BK1 or BK2 is at least as reliable and probably more so than average, but if used hard and or modified beyond its original intended use and design they sometimes fail like anything else out there would under the same circumstances.
Since used is the only option the trick is to find one that hasn't been abused or heavily modified.
Good hunting. 👍

Seats are nice. who do you use for aftermarket parts that are not built by Hyundai? Anyway, its obvious you take care of your car and it looks good.
Thank you.
Seats are actually from IKON Motorsports via Amazon. The mounting brackets are from a company called Planted and are specifically for the Genesis coupe but will work with almost any aftermarket seat.
