Ok here's what I have: 2016 Gen Coupe Ultimate Automatic.

Question 1: Do these motors have a PCV valve on each side? One that feeds onto the cold air intake, R2C in my case. The other on the passengers side that feeds into the upper plenum on the intake manifold?

Question 2: Can both PCV ports, if above is correct, be fed into 2 inlets on an oil catch can and then be filter from a "Y" block splitter outlet of the oil catch can. Or should I get an oil catch can for each side.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Corrected PVC to PCV a brain dead moment sorry fellow Gen buddy's

My brotha,.........PVC is the under sink plastic pipes. Positive Crankcase Ventilation PCV is what you mean.

There is one PCV valave on the back side of your passenger side valve cover. There is another nipple which comes off the front side of the driver side valve cover, this goes into your intake.(You should remove that, unless you want oily blowby to coat your IM and valves.

So,....

1. Off the back side PCV valve mount a CLOSED can. This mates your actual PCV and your IM.
2. Off the front side of the valve cover. Mount a vented can. I have a Saikou Michi. The line from the valve cover goes to the input on the can. The out put is a hose with a breather filter on it which goes to the road. Yes the road. This can will conditionally go from vacuum, to spewing oily crap you dont want in your engine. Plug off the old port in your intake. If you are in an inspection state, alternate your road line and breather to connected to the intake for inspection. HA !!

This setup works great for NA like you are, and even better for turbo, like I am.

If youre aggressive its there, I've measured it. Even when the car was NA. Theres a reason the oem re circulates it to your intake. As a NA any reduction in your valves coking is good. GDIs are horrendous. Of course I dont have that problem anymore with my meth. You NA guys stand to stay cleaner much longer by not re-circulating.

So from what I am seeing yes to the "2" catch cans. Also when I put the R2C intake on I tee'd from the drivers side PCV to what I think goes to the automatic transmission? If this is the case does it matter which catch the clean air is filter to the transmission?

Brake boost assy

I have a 2013 so I dont know if we are exactly the same, but I think so. I'm a 8AT as well. What you are referring to is a 4 barb/hose assembly at the back of the motor centered, right up against the fire wall. It is a part of the vac system, very important part of this is the vac brake boost line. Dont mess with that. One of the barbs did go to my intake when I had one, I just capped it off. The trans still gets its vac from this assembly even when you dont have a line to an intake. (Or you can have one) The PCV side has to be a CLOSED non breather catch can.

Single ADD 1's are actually perfect for here.
Breather cans like the Saikou Michi are great for the other side.
